Polisportiva Sportclub Neugries

Polisportiva Sportclub Neugries was founded in Bolzano in September 1980 by a small group of friends. Main goal was to offer the opportunity to practice sports close to home, especially to the inhabitants of the new district of the city. Today the neighborhood and our club are closely linked: the Neugries has now become an institution, and is one of the biggest sports clubs of Bolzano, well-known even beyond the city limits.

Since the beginning it has offered a wide range of activities for young and old, and so far the mix between competitive sport is the recipe for the success of Neugries. Volleyball section is currently the leading club in the South Tyrolean volleyball, participating every year to provincial and regional championships; it also plays tournaments throughout the national territory. The main team plays in Serie C, while the Under-16 teams participates in the regional championship Serie D.

The reference area of the club is primarily that of the city of Bolzano, although some athletes come from all over South Tyrol. In total there are about 130 members.

Torneo dell'Amicizia - Memorial De Faveri - 10th Edition

This important Federal U17 Tournament is becoming bigger and bigger and it's not a simple event, but also a useful chance to meet girls coming from all over the Europe and sharing a common passion: Volleyball.

Thanks to the success of past editions, we received many contacts by international and national teams, asking about the next edition. That makes us very proud, and we hope to renew that high standard this year.

The Tournament is supported by Veneto Region, Treviso County and the Cities of Farra di Soligo, Moriago della Battaglia, Sernaglia della Battaglia, Pieve di Soligo and San Pietro di Feletto. It's also helped by the Sports Institutions like the Regional Office of Italian Olympic Committee and the Provincial, Regional and National Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV).

To organize this big event it's really important the support we receive by our Partners. We want to thank them in advance for their cooperation and their love for this beautiful sport. We want also to thank all the people that will help us to be successful in this 10th edition

The president,
Francesco Baiocco

UTE

UTE (Újpesti Torna Egylet) club is the oldest of Hungary. It was founded in 1885 and last year celebrated 130 years of history. Team colors are purple and white.

Volleyball section exists since 1948, with both the women's and men's teams. In 40 years it has achieved many successful results. Men's team has won all championships from 1955 to 1963, while the women's team from 1963 to 1968. Also, in cup competitions they finished on the podium, always in the top three.

In 1990 the women's team broke up, and two years later fell to the male. The players thus passed to another club, Tungsram S.C. After 16 years, in July 15, 2008 UTE was re-founded, but with only the female team. In addition to the main team, the youth sector has currently 120 registered female girls, born between 2009 and 1998.

Last season the main team reached third place in both Championship and Cup competitions. Even this year it was ranked third in the Championship.
